Join our virtual quilting bee for the Community “Art Quilt” Project.

Create your own quilt square along with your neighbors during a Virtual Quilting Bee on Saturday, March 6, at 3pm

Hosted by the Piedmont Recreation Department, this hour-long special event gives our community a space to come together, connect, and find inspiration while we each work on “Things That Matter” quilt squares for the Piedmont Arts Fund’s Community Art Quilt Project. REGISTER HERE for this free community program. 

The Community Art Quilt Project is a creative outlet to show the “Things That Matter” to the people of Piedmont during this unique time. Sponsored by the Piedmont Arts Fund the project invites all community members to create a square that will be included in a commemorative quilt to be displayed later in the new PHS Theatre Building. 

The Virtual Quilting Bee on March 6 is the perfect time to create your quilt square! No artistic ability required. Simply ORDER YOUR QUILT KIT HERE to receive everything you need to make a quilt square. 

All proceeds from the quilt squares will fund performing and visual arts programs in Piedmont schools. (Free kits are also available for those who want to participate but cannot donate at this time.)
